Beaver Scouts are our youngest members and meets on a weekly basis (term time) on either Monday or Wednesday (we have two colonies) to take part in a wide range of activities including games, crafts, visits, along with plenty of outdoor activities.

They will also have the opportunity to take part in the fun and excitement of camps and sleepovers. It may be the first time they spend a night away from home so its a real adventure for them.

Cubs (8 - 10)

Our Cub Scout Packs meets on a weekly basis (term time) on either Tuesday or Thursday (we have two packs) to take part in a wide range of activities designed to be interesting and challenging. A Cub Scout meeting consists of games and activities with plenty of time spent outdoors. Camps and holidays are some of the most memorable events of the year for Cubs.

Scouts (10 14)

Our Scout Section meets all year round on a Friday evening and take part in crafts, games, hiking, camping, first aid, etc. During the summer the section is based at Bowmoor Sailing Club where the youngsters take part in water activities using our own extensive fleet of dinghies and kayaks. The section also takes part in local competitions between other scout troops including cooking, archery, activity hikes and rifles shooting. The youngsters also get the opportunity to take part in the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme
